Common names include plumbago and leadwort. Plumbago indica, also known as Plumbago rosea or Scarlet leadwort,and Plumbago zeylanica, also know as White leadwort. Plumbago indica has red or pink flowers and Plumbago zeylanica has white ones, which appear in the late summer.
